a hand study · nothing here can change a game
as shipped · wrap
the splay
chosen · value · against a Toll of 15
Every card stays on screen and stays tappable: the rule the shipped hand encodes was written against carousels, which push whole cards away. The splay covers card faces and never cards, and each covered card shows the strip that holds its corner index, the rank and the pip, which is the read a misplay turns on.
Eight cards in one row instead of two, at full card size, with the chosen set standing out of the arc as a skyline. The number to weigh is in each panel's own corner above.
The chain and the egg live in the card's centre, which is exactly what a fan covers. What survives on the exposed strip is the dim and the power label's colour, and whether that is enough to price a bound Force is the thing to decide holding a phone, on the bound position above. The Counter of Fates stating bound and banked for the selected Forces is the other half of that answer, and it is not on this page.
Inspect on touch. On a pointer, hover magnifies a card without writing anything; on touch, the tap must keep meaning choose. A tap that changes meaning is how a turn gets spent by accident, and one playtest already paid that Toll through the Endure button.
